Much better than a fannypack....but may not fit everyone
by .. imvho ()
This is a MUCH better solution for dog-training-treats than a typical fanny pack. It has a waterproof lining, which means I can take "high value" treats (like real bacon bits or chicken liver bits, etc) in summer because I can put ice cubes in it to keep the baggies of high-value treats safely cool. When done with training I simply turn it inside-out and rinse it and let it dry in my dish-rack overnight. But it's not for the too-terribly-generous of girth. I'm about a Misses size 8 and there isn't all that much belt-length left. I'd guess it would fit perhaps a size 16, no more.
just what I needed!

It took me quite a long time to find what I was looking for - and this is it!
A great alternative to all those treat pouches, that can only be attached to the belt or pocket.
For those of us living in a 4 season climate - you can't always attach a pouch to your pocket or belt ... during the winter time - all the coats, sweaters, scarves make it a little difficult to wear it this way.
The beauty of this product is that the strap can be snapped in around your waist and used as a "fanny pack" or simply hung on your shoulder. Versatile!
The ONLY improvement I would make would be a longer strap so that you can wear it over the shoulder like a bag.
Overall, the product is well made, lightweight, and the pouch liner is very convenient.
The pouch is large enough to fit sufficient amount of treats plus a ball.
Easy to wash - just throw it into the washing machine - and voila!
Easy to wash/Strap too short
by .. Catherine Moon ()
This bag is super to wash. I set the washer on permanent press. It air dried fast. Looks absolutely new after three washings.
It has a nice drawstring inside the semi-rigid top so you can close it tight when not in use.
As others have said, the strap is too short. I am a fairly large woman (five nine, size 20 jeans). The strap is painfully tight around my waist, and over my shoulder it's so short the top of the bag is directly under my breast.
There is a tiny loop sewn into the top of the bag (like the loop for the top button of a flannel shirt) but it seems too scrawny to use for anything.
There are also two sturdy fabric loops to fasten the bag to the strap. I took the strap out and fastened one loop to my jeans with a small carabiner. The bag hangs a little crooked but it works.
Great product. Needs some reworking. Would be willing to pay a little more if it worked better.
Good size, more secure than a belt clip
by .. S. Carstens (Upstate NY)
This dog treat bag has worked wonderfully for us. In the past I've always used the style with the belt clip, which have either broken or fallen off my waist band as I don't usually wear belts! This bag has an adjustable waist strap that is about 40" long. It's a large capacity pouch to hold lots of treats and even a tennis ball or small toy. Closes securely with a cinch cord. One suggestion would be to add a small exterior pocket for a poop bag.
Walking with our busy young labs is much easier with a treat bag. Less pulling on leash and lunging to greet other walkers when you can distract with a little tidbit. And if you attend obedience classes or do reward-based training, you'll find the capacity of this bag more than adequate. Just don't leave it lying around where your chow hound can get a hold of it. My dog found one in our car and tore through the inner lining and destroyed the cinch cord. Keep out of reach of puppies when not in use :)
this was a life safer

Holds adequate treats for when dog is in training and you need to constantly reward them for their behavior. Lightweight.
